Default Carry-over slip question

For the collective, an unusual question:

I've searched for this and can't find a PWA(23Q doesn't cover this)/SRH example (maybe my search skills need work) for a new situation to me. I have a trip (preliminary look at the wide report) starting on the first day of June bid period. I have a large block of time after my last trip of May so block-hour limits don't factor in.

Can I put in a GS request 'without conflict' for the May bid period and accept that the trip in June will be dropped for no pay/credit? (Will they award a GS in May that affects a June trip?)
Can I put in a GSWC request over a bid-month transition?

This is the first time in many months where the stars aligned to give me a non-vacation break in max-block-hour trips. (Yes, I'm fairly junior in a WB category so it's been 6-day-trips exclusively for quite a while as a line-holder)
Any PWA or SRH references would be appreciated. TIA

GSWC would be below GS and they very rarely run. You can, however, WS in the current month and have it conflict with the trip in the second month. You would need to select YES to drop a trip in the next month without pay.

Good to know. The June trip is a 'low value' trip so I might be able to make the carry-over credit improve my total mo-mo pay; loose the June trip by WS-ing up a high-carryout CR May trip.
