Congratulations on the retirement. Who will take his place and brag about all the green slips flown while thousands were furloughed?

What makes him so different from any other pilot who is for age 67? Plenty of self centered pilots just like him. The only difference is he stated his thoughts and displeasures publicly.

He also made 9-11 anniversay posts all about how terrible it was for him to "almost" lose his Captain seat.
This goes *way* behond just his support of age 67.

I almost want some airport appreciation time in LAX just so I can see who this is and read the comments on the picture.

What makes him different? You aren't in the Widget pilot BookFace group, clearly. No, it's not that he stated his thoughts and displeasures. at. all. Lots of reasonable people want 67 to pass. Everyone is entitled to thier opinion. No, he earns particular attention because of of HOW (and how often) he pontificates, on age 67among other opinions. With unrelenting condescention and tonedeafness. There is more, but I'll leave it there.
The irony is that most people who have flown with him report hes actually a really nice guy.
