Sanity Check - Pay at DAL Vs F9

Before anybody laughs, I’m thinking of making the jump to a legacy and want to get my numbers straight. As a 5th yr CA with F9 ($230/hr) on reserve, I’m crediting anywhere from 90-130 hrs per month, blocking 50-80 hrs per month, and taking home $30k per month on the high end (17 days of actual flying, blocking 80hrs, crediting 130) and spending 25 nights per month at home as I live in base. Can anyone tell me where on the bell curve this would be for DAL? I.e. 5th year FO on 75/76, 2nd year CA on 320, etc…

Thanks in advance!

the comparison you asked for only makes sense if you can go back in time. You’d be trying to guess where you’ll be going forward, which is going to be far different than for someone hired 5 years ago.

5 years from now, you’ll probably be a mid seniority NB FO or extremely junior NB captain or WB FO. Guess accordingly based on our pay scales

^^^this^^^

Today’s (even more so for 6 months from now if you haven’t even applied yet) new hires cannot compare their seniority rise to those hired between COVID and say Q1 2023. The OP should look at the mandatory retirement schedule and the current plug awards going out to determine how long it will take to gain that seniority. There’s an AE analysis thread in the stickies. Also a former DL pilot’s website that is free to use for new and prospective pilots.

You're left seat getting 25 nights at home and making $30k per month. Bro, you've arrived.

Don't make the jump unless you want to get in line behind thousands of pilots who are still in their 20s. Which is loco.

I admit nothing. Thanks for the correction, $30k before taxes, however much that may or may not be.
