This weekend was much better than I expected. Is it possible the new hires are having meaningful impact on reliability?

Or did they realize scheduling being undermanned and under trained was the problem and staff up for the weekend by offering extra shifts?

This. Plus sick calls always seem miraculously less on APD weekends.

Seeing more silvers 10-14 days out and WS calls are going out as soon as the manual process starts so they are attempting to cover trips earlier and are getting further through the ladder.

They have a knack for letting their guard down as soon as they make it through a holiday. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the next week implode.

The only ones to offer extra shifts to are the new and undertrained. The experience has left the building.

I heard from a van driver that schedulers aren't taking extra shifts even for triple pay.
