Quote: Ferd...its Pleather

Any soon to be French speakers welcome to the "Dark Side"
I love pleathers, great little guys, the cats love'em

I tried to come to the dark side.........SLC32A and SEA330B, couldn't hold either one
Displaced off the DC9A previously to 755B and everything anywhere that paid more than 755B went senior to me.

755B for DC9A pay (for this AE any ways.....) with a way better schedule and layovers! Damn the bad luck

As long as you are placing the blame where it's due, the company and the synergies they wanted and not "us", I'm ok. Also, how many guys that followed the airplane were already commuters (the north way of looking at the problem)?

All I'm saying is there is a lot of analysis to be done vs blanket statements. Happy New Year to all 12000 plus of US.

Ferd

PS..........who wants the north call in honest policy now that didn't think about it before?
I'm not blaming anyone. Pilots are pilots and will follow the cash/QOL. There's no mystery there. The seniority of the west will increase. Again, no mystery.

There's a large majority of guys who work and also live in SLC. Up until now we've had pretty small airplanes on SLC-MSP. I see a rough commute for them. I've always been a big fan of taking the best of both companies. If they don't give us the fNW commuter policy I'm sure they'll reconsider when the cancelled flights pile up. Happy New Year!

Guess you decided not to try LA?
Fly........see ya back in NRT (if you're who I think you are)
Look at the upside there may be a GUM bid in your future!

Thanks for the note back, of course your right on all points. As a Hub to hub the jets "should" get bigger. I think all the flights between MSP and even MEM are mainline jets. I've done it on the 757 during the summer as I recall.

Nope, no LA for me until they move the Asia flying out there.

Not sure if I'm gonna do that again - never did get acclimated on the time zones and 14 days is too long. Course' with shorter trips.....and beer vending machines almost make it worthwhile

What is interesting is they have really fattened up the DTW 755 category. Wonder what's in store for us as the 7ER come fleet cutover?

Well..........I'm sure they didn't give us all those Africa charts just so we could work out our big arms and become chick mangnets
Interesting breakdown on the movement. Guess the bid required a lot fewer MDs than the company anticipated.

UGGGH!! None of Deltanet's PDFs are coming up with my Mac. Tried to do SAQ training this morning no dice. Now the bid award won't load. It usually works.
