I agree but Ryan is going to be character assassinated for this. He's going to need emails and calls from CVG pilots that will stand strongly behind him against the certain recall attempts.

Good analysis.

I also thought the same thing about 1E9. Why give one person so much power? Why wouldn't it be voted on by the entire MEC? Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

That is great to hear. If you feel like sharing your thoughts, are you a YES or NO on this?

I was CVG based on and off for 4 years. Although I've never met Ryan, he has my support.

I'm an absolute NO on this one. I voted yes on C2012; it had lower pay increases than I wanted, but it fixed several other issues (notably sick leave). I figured that the short duration of the contract would position us well for this negotiation.

Well, here we are, in a time of record profits, being asked to approve a contract that is, in my opinion, concessionary! The raise is, once again, smaller than expected, but more significantly, we are making significant concessions in profit sharing, scope, and sick leave.

In my correspondence with my reps (except for Ryan), the response seems to be that while this TA might be underwhelming, the alternative would be a drawn out mediation. WHO CARES?!? I'd rather live under C2012 than C2015.

I also voted yes on C2012 for the same reason(s). i was pretty sure the company would be much better off with the debt payoffs, etc. So now they give us this!

Some will, some won't...don't make this into a seniority fight! Concentrate on the facts.

Bingo! Outsider here but this should be stressed to your pilots. Why vote for this when your current agreement is better IMO. Best of luck, I hope ya'll vote it down with a big percentage.
