Default c2018 TA goes to MEC

PS gone but you get 8% now then 3/3/3. you can call in sick as much as you want but you do not get paid, we will add 20 e175 if you sign in 20 days otherwise they are off the table. Did we mention due to new JV scope you will need these 20 e175 to prevent layoffs. We also will convert all 50 seaters to 76 seat options. we offer you furlough protection to everyone on property untill we have to use force majeure. As ceo if you do not sign it will be awhile before we get a deal, your union leaders think this is the greatest deal they can achieve. have a nice day and don't forget to wear your uniform with pride, hat and all!

Fear tactic or new type of negotiation by management. I guess the future leadership of our Union will decide the fate of this career. The above scenario is no different then the yes voters fear mongering about what happens if this POS TA gets voted down.

Yep. Why even have a union taking 2% of your earnings.

Good news: you answered your own question. You say the future leadership will "decide", and according to the internet, we got some SERIOUS heavy-weights, heavy-duty guys ready to take the helm, and "decide", after a very brief period of landslide recalls. So I don't really see the problem for 2018.

Right now, the pilots get to decide TA2015, early, which is a good thing IMO.

Part of the high pressured sales pitch - if we delay we risk all. Cats and dogs living together, real wrath of God stuff.

So a NO vote is like crossing the streams?

I think so.

But if that's what it takes to kill this marshmallow, it's worth the risk of ripping a hole through the space-time conintium fabric.

But Carl, second from the left, is in.

Interestingly, I think the vote for the 30-day MEMRAT was 18-1, so even the no's went for the timeline. I understand it has to do with deposit deadlines on the 190's, but am not certain. As for the political calculations behind the timeline, I don't know, but if it's part of a high-pressure sales-pitch, the no-noters missed their chance to vote against it.

So if we vote it down the Fireside sale on the E190's and 737's is gone. Yeah right. Pretty interesting timing.
