DALPA Eats Itself

Frankly if you've made enough of an arse of yourself over the years that everyone knows who you are, even on an anonymous board, I don't have a problem with people using their names either. Mock away.
The problem I had from the get go was the "he said something I don't like so I'm going to tell mommy."
Intentionally causing problems for fellow pilots with the company is not a road we want to get started down.

What is eye opening and making it a big deal is the fact that ALPA leadership types liked it enough to put their names with it.

The fact that he bashed into a light pole or that his wife should not be in a spandex tank top should not take away from his comments about "dum-ash" pilots voting no. If this TA was any good, it would not need snake oil salesmen brow beating us at check in!!!

A DALPA meeting with a few familiar faces (all public information). Think they're assigning FPL for the coming week for keyboard warriors or maybe they were working on writing the punitive sick leave policy that wouldn't really affect them?

Tim Parker looks like the last guy on the planet who should be managing a cutting edge communications program.
Is he still sending telegraphs and dialing a rotary phone? Perhaps he still uses a typewriter...and looks for a payphone to call home.
I guess on the bright side, with a politically appointed buffoon on the job, it's much easier to identify, analyze, and overcome his clumsy, incompetent propaganda. All he has left is censorship.
All the charlatans involved in this, every last one of them, are Donatelli's boys.
Donatelli owns this mess, and he owns these clowns.

His Facebook tantrum is embarrassing. His derogatory comments about his fellow Delta pilots probably are just fine with the company as they only work to divide our group. I don't know if they approve of them, but our union leadership apparently does. L Mock even Likes it! Just goes to show that talk of "Unity" is just that talk... it's a tag line. "Unity." As long as we're all behind getting MD further up the ALPA ladder and buy off on whatever he's selling. If not, well, all bets are off.
What's sad is that Ron's outburst is indicative of what many see from ALPA right now--a sense of complete indignation. Strong ALPA supporters who talk of the importance of speaking as one voice, and not being divided are stomping their feet, "I can't believe you idiots voted against the TA!" All of us can read the press reports where our union is not speaking up for us. And we can read the lack of will and conviction of fighting for a just TA in the chairman's letters. We see it in the actions of our LECs scheduling meetings out into the end of Sep. The message is loud and clear: Protecting their ALPA positions is the priority.
To cleanse the visual pallet after seeing the above:
