****all PRO-RECALL DAL pilots please read****

My fellow DAL pilots,

I have been informed by a friend, who happens to be in FLT OPS management of the following directive from ATL:

"Forward to ATL the name and employee number of any pilot(s) involved with recall attempts, or garnering of proxy votes to facilitate the recall process"

I was also told they will be in the lounges looking specifically for those pilots involved in such activities.

What you do on your phone and email on your time is YOUR business. Be aware that if you do "work" to further the cause in our lounges the company appears to have a different opinion.

Stay safe. Stay active. Stay aware.

I hope that is not true, if it is, time to take down the DAL sign and put up the EAL sign. That is something "Moonman" would pull.

It would not surprise me. The current ATL ALPA guys(including Donatelli) are very close to mgmt., and the last thing Richard wants is for those guys to be recalled and replaced with guys demanding more. I'm sure Delta mgmt. will do everything it can to protect those guys and also protect ALPA. ALPA being replaced would be a disaster for mgmt. One thing is for sure, we need them recalled ASAP.

Unfortunately it is true.

My source is impeccable.

Sad day for DAL.

Not DAL...but what could they do to you?

Violating any company policies by doing that?

Sounds like a good way for things to get legally messy in a "press to test" situation to me...

they could terminate you. and how enthusiastic do you think alpa would be about defending individuals involved in recalling alpa reps?

hell....they probably would be witnesses for the company in your legal 'battle' to retain your employment.

this aint tiddlywinks boys and girls.

One definition of insanity is doing the same stupid stuff over and over....lets stop the madness folks. Send in a card.

Question for someone smarter than me. Is this legal?

Terminate for what cause?

ALPA would be inviting a massive DFR suit if they were in any way party to such stupidity...and discovery can be a real peach for interested parties.

But again...not my sandbox...

BobZ 07-19-2015 02:09 PM

alpa has been around that block more than once...and lost.

that didn't stop the next incident. see....'alpa' doesn't worry about huge legal fines for representation malfeasance...they just send out a special assessment bill to line pilots.

Im sure some at national actually find it humorous that those who stirred up the trouble, actually end up paying for alpas dedicated effort to frustrate and sabotage what it was they were trying to do. haha. the joke is on you.

I guess you don't know about the 49'ers. when delta went to the federal court and got 'john doe' warrants for to be named delta pilots they suspected of being involved in altering the status quo of the negotiations process.

and then in the dead of night...at the now identified pilots homes.....had the authorities serve those search warrants.

terminate you? absolutely. the burden is on you at that point to sue a corporation that just made over two billion in the second quarter.

wanna bet who runs out of money first?

ta2 will in all probability get reworked and passed, with the existing personalities. Here is a piece of advice.....don't waste your time and place your employment in jeopardy by trying to 'fix'..what is unfixable.

You want change? It doesn't take losing your job....all it takes is a piece of paper and a stamp.
