Yup. Any wonder now why management wanted the new provision for Delta logos on other airplanes...with the approval of the MEC Chairman?

For this reason alone, I think his plan was to resign from the git go.

Things that make you go hmmm.

What exactly was in it for him?

Yep. Management went from co-opting several of DALPA's upper-level bureaucrats, to co-opting just one corruptible Chicago thug. Much cheaper that way.

It has worked on Chicago wannabe big shot politicians before, so why not try it on Donatelli? Look how hard he sold it. Look how desperate he was, look how personally involved he was. He was on the take.

It was an inspired union-busting play. It won't be the last time management tries it. And it won't be the last time DALPA tries to cram it down.

Our dues dollars are being flushed down the ****ter. When is enough, enough?

Now we have a new 3 year measuring period and 1 year cure period. We've now lost a significant point of leverage in gaining a great new contract. Donatelli just gave it away for $30 million.
