That's not 100% correct but, it's also not far off. I had a long discussion with my wife about stepping up. No can do. I do think this is a pivotal time and opportunity, iow very important.

I will do my personal best to stay involved and help though.

I do think it is important for the guys with different ideas to get involved. Personally, I think Purple Drank would be an excellent addition to union work. He has incisive views that frankly show how naked the emperor is.

This is a false tenant you and your ilk use to take the focus off your own disgraceful performance. If I pay an attorney to perform work for me and he ignores my direction I don't go to law school to become an attorney. I fire his a$$ and hire someone else. That's pretty much what we have here. You don't like it and thus try to change the narrative, build straw men and create rules that nobody else agrees to. Don't go away mad (ie SLC captain rep), just go away!

With that said, I may be running. Btw, I think there are many who would get more involved if ALPA/DALPA would bring us into the 21st century and stop with the closed door nonsense. Make it easy for people to get involved and make them a part of the solution instead of insulting and ignoring them and amazing things happen.
