I was furloughed after 9/11 and engaged at same time. Told my fiance, "Why don't we get married now." Long story short we got married a couple weeks later. She said during preparation, " I have ideas for a honeymoon that will be cheap. LOL 1st choice: See the Braves if still in the playoffs. 2nd: See Michael Jordan play before he retires again. 3rd: Go to a Nascar Race. ( Keep in mind my wife is a dainty little ballet dancer ) We went to the Atlanta race when it was still the next to last of season. Everyone sitting around us found out we were honeymooning and we had free beer the whole race!
Now if I had a good PS check then, heck, I might've gotten good pit passes. HA |

We had a "surprise" wedding. Invited @ 85 people to a pool party at her parents place. Beer, BBQ and boiled shrimp. Told the entourage we had an announcement, we were getting married. They asked when? The preacher emerged and said "right now"
No pressure, no gifts, no stress. Total cost? @ $2500. That was June of 1991, 2 days after my 727 FE ride. Still happily married. |

I always figured if I bought some woman a pair of boltons.......I would have her sign a "visitation" contract. No matter what happened in our relationship, shoot she could even go get married to someone else for all I care. But, no matter what, I would still require a minimum of 5 years "visitation rights" with them babies!
