3rd Qtr Profit = $2.2 Billion

According to articles posted the pre-tax profit for the quarter is $2.2 billion. My back of the napkin math for the year puts us around $5.1 billion pre tax profit year to date. If we meet and do not exceed 4th quarter numbers from a year ago we will hit over $6.1 billion. So far this year we have beat last year on average of 25% ( once again a back of napkin math).

If we continue that trend we will see about $6.4 billion in profit for the year...it looks like Valentine's Day will be very nice this year. Looks the PS range should 21% to 23%.

Peachtree City kitchen remodlers and boat dealers most excited. Vans RV territory salesman stoked about slew of new inquiries.

Same with plastic surgeons. They're stocking up on 36D install kits right now.

I have 3 friends that paid for those kits and all 3 are divorced now. One of the girls that got one of those kits now has a 28 year old boy toy.

Sounds like he got off cheap! I'd buy my wife a pair too, if only she would promise to leave me! :D

Oh, and back to the earnings numbers... "No money left on the table!" Yeah, right.

Boy Toys in Peachtree City most likely the largest winners of Delta's best September quarter ever.

PS $1.1B ytd. Exceeds all of last year.

Note 2% increase in unit cost is their goal. Sure that goes for us. Want a larger increase? you shell game it.

That's what it is, a shell game. As long as we don't question the math or the assumptions the math is based on, we feel like we won.

Jamie throwing down on pilot PS programs, RA fine with running two PS programs btw, and Jamie asked about the E190s still being up for grabs. RA said he doesn't know, ask Boeing. Delta had a signed agreement and cancelled it, deposits returned.
