OK thanks for that. I championed him when he was running. I want to be a believer things can change. There just seems to be too many bad things still going on even after he took the helm. The biggest problem, when we are presented with another turd and he uses the bogus polling as belched by the new social media specialist to "get to yes".... more time will have been wasted and some guys will say we are too far in the process to turn back now. Let's go around prior to 1000 or even 5000 if multiple failures are popping up.

He needs to take some decisive action soon or he will lose confidence of the 65%. He cannot let the BS go unchecked.

On a separate note, we DO NOT need Richard attending MEC meetings at this point! Is Buzz inviting him?

There was a poll on the CC forum regarding a warmed over POS15. He didn't know it was a public poll apparently. He voted yes on that poll. When questioned about it, he tucked tail and disappeared. Make no mistake, although Heiko voted no, he is very friendly with the old guard way of thinking.

Fair enough, but lets give these guys a chance. I think we are in good hands. Lets see what happens in C44.

Will hang on a little longer, but not much longer. If Malone doesn't decisively show through words and actions he's in charge (wrestling control from Buzz and his henchmen), mapping a blueprint for restoration (not using phrases like "getting to yes"), it will be time to move on and not look back.

For the record, "yes" comes when the correct product is presented, not through a sales campaign lowering expectations to make a lemon look marginally good enough and "we'll get em next time". Let's not play those games any longer. Correct product = Restoration and better than Fedex in every category. Fedex as a corporation is making a fraction of what Delta is. Delta pilots need to quit staring at their feet, believe in themselves and demand a fair compensation, an industry leading compensation!

Malone was no good during his last tenure and I don't see how this time will be any different.......I have been around ALPA for 25 years and have always been disappointed.

The sick leave language, that included the ability for the company to check our medical records, was negotiated for 2012. That was Heiko's baby. He and Uvena on the NC do not give me great confidence. It is more of the same. But I hope that they surprise me. In a good way.

These boys are all the same. Anyone say any different is drunk on kool-aid or immersed in the seductive stockholm syndrome.

I hope I can wake up from this dream and realize I am wrong.

You are wrong.... especially when you say such gems as "here is my statement and if you disagree you drink the kool-aid or are a Stockholm Syndrome waif."

Nice willingness to tolerate any view other than your own....

You wait and see. Again, I hope I am wrong.

PS. I have noticed you get really defensive when anyone criticizes Heiko. Too bad, he put himself in a position to be critiqued. I for one think he is a great person. I just do not want him negotiating for me.

Well C2000 certainly had some shortcomings, Scope comes to mind, but overall it was acceptable to a very, very large percentage of the DAL Pilots.

More importantly DALPA was a lot more aggressive in its approach back then vs. the timid approach we have just seen on the last TA.

No one can guarantee any certain result but we should at least have a union that will fight hard on our behalf.

The fact that some guys seem to think our only option is to take whatever management offers really boggles my mind.

Scoop
