2016 Profit Sharing 29% Plus By My Math

Delta's October numbers were astounding. IMO we will easily see 2016 profit sharing in excess of 29%.

Please press your reps for an estimate based on a PTIX of $8-$10 billion.

Whatever your minimum hourly increase, you can easily add 8%.

Time is on our side.

Ratings agencies are projecting a sustained $9-10 billion going forward starting in 2016. With no change to PTIX formula 30% looks achievable with the added profits from new JVs and equity returns. Rough math says $11.9B gets you there.

Momentum is building for 2016. The PRASM softness is reversing.

And THAT'S why Richard wants to change the way PS is calculated, AND increase the 20% payout threshold.

As I've said many times before, he can keep 100% of my profit sharing, right after he returns 100% of my pay and retirement money to pre-bankruptcy levels adjusted for inflation.

Until then, FU, PM!

Mr B.......hence my suggestion we change PS to PENSION SUBSIDY. :)

Don't forget the 15% on top.

Time is absolutely on our side.

No concessions, no givebacks.

It's time to make hay while the sun shines.

Things that make you go hmmm...

http://seekingalpha.com/news/2902516...upo-aeromexico

Delta owns 20% of AeroMexico. AeroMexico is expanding international capacity while Delta is shrinking it. Profit sharing is the only way pilots make money as this business model is expanded.

Any idea what the PS would have been using the Reduced numbers in the TA? I realize no changes took place until 2017, so 2016 is going to be big no matter what. So if the profit remains the same throughout 2016 & we agree to a new TA with the same PS trade they were asking for, what would the 2/17 % be vs w/out a TA?
