What time do they close?

This is a big day.

ATL guys...please make one more call to support "Team Resoration" before the vote closes!

Hopefully all of the new hires fresh off probation step up and vote for the Restoration 4. They have more at stake than anyone else. They should not want guys retiring the next few years to dictate their next 30 years.

The vote closed 30 minutes ago. Keeping my fingers crossed for new reps that will support John Malone and restoration...

Early reports are saying all four Team Restoration candidates won...

What happens to Nestor, Sawtell, et al.?

They got replaced by people who might actually represent the pilot group.

Hopefully put out to pasture for good.

If we're going to pull ourselves away from "constructive appeasement" and have a truly restorative contract (during these historically profitable times), we need to be completely unified toward the goal of RESTORATION...

You know RA has got to be PO'ed at EB for messing up the TA. EB simply reached too far, arrogance. Now we have 25%+ PS on the books and a union that this management team hasn't experienced before, ever. What I mean by that is an emboldened group of pilots and union leadership from MCO and DFW, but now they represent ATL and hence most of the DAL pilots. The old guard is gone.

As weak as I thought the TA was, I thought it would just barely pass by low 50%. As far as I'm concerned, judging by our past contract acceptance, EB hit us right between the eyes in terms of a barely passable contract. Our union failed to sell it to us. I was a no vote from the get-go, but the minute MD screamed PEB, I think a lot of guys that were on the fence, got suspicious as to his motive.

Now the sleeping giant has had enough of, "This will set us up for our next contract", and "We aren't going to even see those last two 3% raises. It is finally next time....we aren't going to get them next time, we are going to get them this time! Thank you fellow C44 pilots. Especially those in there last few years who could have taken the money and ran.

Did you read my contract survey? :) Your words/sentiment mirror what I wrote in "1500 words or less" on this latest Contract Survey. This pilot group will no longer stand for, "we'll get 'em next time" and "we didn't think the company would do that."

Someone who has been listening to me complain about the union and company for 30 years just asked me if the pilots will grow a pair and finally do something about it.
