Default Mega Delta

This came up during the investor day presentation. Delta is already bigger than you think. Profit sharing will grow and International flying will not.

I have a feeling that Profit Sharing is numero uno with management. They will demand to couple us with non contract.

On the flipside it kinda sucks when the "equity partner" starts falling apart due to poor management - and we are left holding 49% of the losses with 0% control.

Not incredibly likely to happen I hope.

And we can keep saying NO, not until they have fully restored the value of our 60% FAE DB plan, and restored our pay rates, plus inflation, and restored our vacation weeks we gave away to help them stay out of bankruptcy.

Except there is no flip side. That's the point.

If you listen to the presentation and read the article, you will realize the only airline they don't have operational control of is Air France. They tried though, the quote from Richard was "the French won't let us run their airline" after talking about how our management team are the turnaround consultants for all the others and are making the business decisions.

The Q&A with Richard and Ed. I think Jamie Baker asks the question.

We as a group need to be fully aware of this international "growth." SCOPE and PROFIT SHARING need strengthening.

Jamie Baker.

I swear he reads these kinds of forums. Mingles with the weirdos and scoflaws loosely assembled here.

Fine. Do it outside Section 6 so it doesn't water down any "pay raise."

Um that is a nonstarter. What they did to the noncon's is way worse than what was in the failed TA. I don't think that they would be willing to pay enough in payrates in order to make that happen.
