“A blistering examination of corporate greed and avarice. Essential reading for anyone who works for a living.”

Buy it, read it and then pass it to another Delta pilot.
It is time to take a stand.

Your dues money buys nothing.
There is story today on the wires abut the multi employer teamsters pension cuts. Congress has set the precedent, and the pbgc has moved to cut benefit payments to beneficiaries in their custodial plans.
There well be no 'bail out' of the pbgc. The teamsters plans are just the first straw.
Tens of thousands of alpa pilots..... and hundreds of thousands of AFL-CIO members... are going to have their pbgc payments slashed, while the reorganized corporations reap windfall profits and management bonuses resulting from shedding retirement plans to the pbgc.
What could get done is congressional legislation requiring the now wildly profitable restructured corporations and their highly compensated managements offset any pbgc reductions in benefits to sustain the level of benefit payments.
Alpa.... and the AFL-CIO....... are....and will do..... nothing.

Somebody needs to ask the present field of Presidential candidates where they stand on this issue.
What do you think Trump or Hillary will say when it comes to protecting working middle class pensions, vs throwing them off to the PBGC?
Here's a quick review of the book mentioned above: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZWz9h5AROo
