Default Deltanet Missing Items

In an outrageous violation of the status quo, management has added a "pilot negotiations update" tab to Deltanet.

A disgusting attempt to lower expectations and manipulate the process.

What they failed to mention in this list on nonsense:

1) Delta executives compensation continues to rise at nose bleed pace. This is acceptable because they have a waiver from the very restrictions they are attempting to force on the Delta pilots.

2) Wasting Billions and Billions and Billions on stock buy backs is somehow acceptable, but investing in the Delta pilots is risky and wouldn't be prudent.

3) The Delta pilots have taken Billions and Billions and Billions in life changing concessions that remain in place and this is necessary so our executives can spend more Billions on more stock buy backs.

4) A 50% pay cut requires a 100% hourly increase to get back to ZERO.

This addition to Deltanet is a gross violation of the status quo and needs to be removed.

ASK ED: ARE YOU GOING TO INCREASE THE STOCK BUY BACK PROGRAM BY BILLIONS ON JUNE 10TH?

Status quo violation? How does a web page change any actual working conditions? I think you've overreached on this one.

It's not a status quo violation Jerry. But you are on a roll with misinformation.
You gotta stop listening to Bartels. He's giving you bad info.

Status quo relates to working conditions and compensation. I agree they are putting out propaganda but that is the norm as each side shapes the argument for their position. We need to do more of the same. The contrast between bankruptcy and industry record profits seems like a no brainer to me. Then theirs the fairness argument, all other employees were returned to the pre-bankruptcy hourly wages before last years cumulative 17.5% raises.

The industry standard is 10-18% above our current rates also. Profit sharing is an industry standard now with American on board. No concessions in the last two adjustments across the industry United was mid contract and American was given profit sharing without a negotiation, also mid contract. We have our own arguments they just need to be made effectively. The primary audience is the two mediators but the entire NMB and other government officials' support should be sought too. To have public support would be nice if they would remind their representatives.

Another key audience is the investment community. If we continually show up on stage side by side with management we are enabling them. The absence of a Delta pilot at an analysts conference and pilots hand billing at the door would send a message.

Deltanet is being used by the company as a negotiating tool. To call any of the articles journalism would be incorrect. The pilot group is painted in a certain light. Never has it been mentioned that Mr. Anderson is the highest compensated airline CEO in the history of aviation. We wish him well.
