Management doesn't respect us and thinks we are a joke.

I agree with you Hockey... I predict we will get a TA with UA rates +.0001 percent- but it will also include the LCA trip pulls, some kind of sick leave "fix" to foil the "abusers", and some PS give backs..... It will be hailed by DALPA as a significant win for all Delta pilots, and there will be much rejoicing!.... I hope I'm wrong, but hey- I'm used to voting NO....

This week's chairman's letter shows a retreat by the admin. Malone has given up on reality for a while, and maybe we will revisit market forces, BATNA, and slow walks through fantasyland after we are parked by the NMB in September. No one has the stones to tell the Orange Crush anything it doesn't want to hear, and according to Bartels, anyone who won't wear the orange is now OFFICIALLY ostracized by this union, dis-invited from taking part in informational picketing.

Nothing noteworthy here. This was put out over a month ago at the SPSC training event in Atlanta - I was there. We want the picketing Pilots to be uniform. All in uniform, orange lanyards, no name-tags, all holding the sign in identical fashion.
