And not being able to drop or swap due to capped reserve days.

How about 5:15 pay immediately and 3:45 credit immediately and all retroactive with credit increasing by 30 min each year until at the 5:15 level by the end of the contract.

And I want a full free bar in the pilot lounge instead of some stupid spa to criticize my uniform

I don't think we should even entertain any "pay no credit" WRT vacation. There is no reason for it. The only logic (if you can call it that) is that it is a way to "hide money" from the prying eyes of Wall St or other work groups or whatever. :roll eyes: Not interested. There are other ways to do that.

Once we get pay AND credit up to 5:15 per day, then, and only then, can we entertain "pay no credit" to hide money. Until then, all it does is mask our inferior vacation system from the true added value (QOL) it needs.

As for the "spa" I'm still not sure what that really is even going to be, but ain't no strangers touching my feet.

Pay and credit or just get rid of the stupid dichotomy of pay vs. credit system. Everything should have a single value now for pay and scheduling. We ended the reserve split so lets end the other disparities.

Anyone have the New hire numbers to date for the year? July?

And how about retirement numbers, mandatory plus attrition?

Thanks

I have 658 YTD with 69 for the 2 classes so far in July. And another one starting on Monday. These are just numbers I have got from class drops on the forum.

From April to December, I showed 154 projected mandatory retirements. From April to June there were supposed to be 52 mandatory but I show 86 attrition from the 12,000 range.

I don't work at Delta but have been watching the numbers as Delta is where I want to end up eventually.
