Looks like the hiring is keeping up...

11 Jul and 18 Jul classes: 69 total
25 Jul class: 54

123 total

Flight Ops Goal for July: 120

I'm impressed

Several people I know were recently hired... offered the first class of their choosing barely 2 weeks out.

um, there were only 49 in today's class (had a buddy in it)...so that would make it 118. still pretty close to the 120

Thanks for the update

In another you listed:
10 MD88 ATL
10 717 ATL
4 320 DTW
4 737 NYC
6 320 NYC
10 MD88 NYC
10 717 NYC

If it's only 49...cool. Eventually we will see the seniority list. I'm not trying to toss any spears at you Tunes...thanks for your info.

Personally I don't think they'll hit their goal of 540 from July to October. I just want to keep track.

It was actually 5 717 ATL. Currently going through FTD/SIM. We see a flock of candidates show up nearly every day in their blue suits and red ties. Counting my blessings every day I'm here!

It's all good!! Thanks for passing the info anyways. We wouldn't have had the numbers without you anyway.

THAT ..... Is actually a really good idea.

Motion seconded.

Latest info says only 30 in the upcoming class on 8 August. They'll need to have class sizes that average 45 for the two classes following th 8 Aug class to hit 120.

As others have said, the pool is shallow, and by the 8th it'll have been two weeks since the previous class. Unless the numbers that interview each day increases a good amount, it'll be very tough for company to hit their numbers.

And there's the management argument. We can hire or train fast enough so outsourcing is necessary. SCOPE, PRODUCTION BALANCE, PROFIT SHARING. Maybe we need a break to see how much flying is in the works for Aeromexico. (and others)
