Actually, I'll answer yours now. The lies, infighting, etc. both before and during the TA ratification was a staggering failure of leadership. Sadly, that seems to be the new norm.

my first hand historical recollections do not include fnwa alpa operatives. so an answer on my part would be immaterial.
you see continued dysfunction, in spite of new personalities in the process. well...maybe the problem is the process and methodology.
the membership pays the price for a luxury home. we have our pilot buds oversee the construction. instead of letting the framing crew work....our buds each pick up a hammer and nail bag and go to 'work'.
so instead of their efforts being best spent examining the results produced by a professional framing crew......we have nearly two dozen pilots pointing to and arguing about who's little part of the house is done the best.
what could go wrong?

I'll answer yours when you answer mine. What do the pilots of Council 20 have to show for Bill Bartels' long career at ALPA?

Now you know it feels like to be on the other side. Retirement creeping up on you? And no raise? But screw all us younger pilots with 20-30+ to go with the concessionary work rules eh?

First of all, your assumption is incorrect. Second, exactly what concessionary work rule is so horrible? I don't see any that are worth passing up so much money. In fact, I see enough gains in the AIPs that it seems to be a wash.
