Good for you. That’s your right. Just like it’s my right to put in a WS anytime aI want. Remember, it’s early in the month. The senior pilots getting GSs today will be white slipping later in the month to fill up to the GS limit,

That would be a pretty dumb thing to do given that there are only 2 blue days this month on 320A. The getting will be good for all.

If it’s all/mostly blue, then you’ve got a point.

People do strange things. I recently saw the number 4 pilot in a category WS a trip with 3 trips in open time with no reserves. He got the WS and the two other trips went on GS’s to pilots junior to him.

It might not be dumb for that person’s situation. Stop trying to tell people how to be.

Exactly. And they offer this “advice” like they actually care about you. I’m too junior to get a greenie in my category, so thanks, I’ll take my white slip sir.

I got a green slip.... once.

It's trying to be a discussion of strategy.

"I do what I want" isn't strategy... it's a teenager mad at their parents.

I’ll take straight pay over you guys getting my money anytime...unless access to premium pay would get fixed in the next contract which is doubtful.

Who is you guys? I'd be more than happy to change it to double pay over 75 (80 is too high, and the time and a half of a previous life was too low).

I definitely would find that to be a reasonable solution if we could actually secure it.

You should happily do whatever you want within the constraints of the PWA.

But you kinda lost me, what needs to get fixed with premium time?

You’re using all sorts of name calling BS, and failing to recognize the nuance that makes your strategy sub-optimal for other people. Nobody asked for your advice on what to do, nor did they ask to be called names for not doing what you want them to.
