Do you have friends at SWA? Have you ever seen the math on money earned per day flown? I have, blows our NB math away. The lack of B plan has been fixed, and their vacation/trips touching humbles our plan. Their medical blows ours away, and they have a min day, not as important for our international folks, yyuuggee for our NB folks. Nice singles and doubles they've strung together.

Hey but we are gonna keep saying no until we get the deal we want, right? Meanwhile, they score another run.

well then why does the ER pay a few dollars more than a 737? there is where the problem lies. We consider it a WB but pay it like a NB

I agree, the PS final product will be huge. Not flying with too many folks that are willing to see that change at all. I'm looking forward to seeing the comparisons as well. Have to go now, off to hear from JM, the NC and my reps. Should be interesting.

Have fun. Let us know what you find out.

I appreciate the tone of your discussions lately, btw, even if I disagree with much of the perspective.

It pays a few dollars more because the 737 rate was negotiated long after the 767 via 3B6. Same reason the 767-400 pays a lot more then the 767ER.

Betcha those positions don't change much when the payrates come out.

I get out of line occasionally, but try not to. Try not to take anything personally in cyberspace. We disagree often, but the discussion is why we all spend time here. At the end of the day, educate yourself, and cast your vote! Had to leave a little early. Got to hear all the reps talk, JM and SU speak as well. Questions were varied, passions were high at times. I think we'll see a TA in the next two weeks.

Thanks. Looking forward to your observations.

Apologies in advance if this is a momentary thread hijack.

SWA pilot here, I have a few questions for the Delta pilots.

First, Delta pilots get a company paid B-fund contribution. Does that money go into your 401k account or some other investment account?

Second, do Delta pilots ALSO get a 401k match on individual pilot contributions as well? If yes, what is the percentage the company will match?

Thanks in advance for the quick answers.

15% from the company no matter what you put in goes into a fidelity 401k. You can contribute as much as you wish.

Hello

1. Our 15 percent of flight pay goes into our 401k.

2. No. You can contribute any amount up to annual limits, but no match.

Congrats on the new contract!
