Road show. It's also typically the pattern for a narrow body introduction with the delivery rate we are seeing. We had 3 717 bases within about two years of the first flight. Should see the same pattern with the CS.

the 350 was supposed to be on the AE last march....what's your point?

Not sure how Airbus inability to deliver A350's ontime relates to standing up a domestic category. The point is however there will be several CS bases within 2 years of its inservice date. The company hates single base operations. One snow or ice storm and the category is shut down.

I’ve been following the Class Drops thread. Noticed that all new hires are getting the NYC base. Anyone know how long it’s taking to transfer to SEA?

Not long. I think there may actually be a single new hire slot available now if they exercise it once they are finished with NYC. Otherwise it seems to have been the next AE if you are on the 737 or after a year if other aircraft type due to new hire seat lock.

If another category were to open in Seattle, those positions would not be subject to seat lock restrictions for the first AE that had them.
