Anybody have any good tips on hotels, restraunts and activities in and around NAPA?

I think there might be some wineries around there.

Good food north of Marriott, Good wine, Cheap golf (don't argue when he says you're a resident), Kayaking in the reservoir, one of my favorite places.

I like the free bottle of wine that you get for a Jet A fillup...

Drive north and go to Mustard's Grill. Frequently reviewed and was excellent. Haven't been there in a while but you should be able to find it on the net.

Also, just outside the airport is a sake winery. JAL has (or at least used to) an ab initio flight school there and one reason reportedly was due to the availability of a rice favored by the Japanese and also used to make excellent sake.

Mondavi and Beringer offer the best winery tours IMHO, I used to live in Marin County and have taken several friends visiting from out of town there. Also did some of my flight training there at KAPC.

Downtown Joe's in Napa. Live music, good food, micro brew. Love it.

Right next door is the Bounty Hunter if you want to sample wine or buy a bottle or three...

+1 I've never had a meal that wasn't excellent at Mustard's.
