I hope this is the right area for this question .
What is the best time of year to make a trip over to Hawaii without the cattle car effect ?
The last time Fred made the trip over to Hawaii AA was using DC10's

Loads usually seem to be lightest mid Sept. thru early Nov., and then from after Easter till mid May. Don't try to go over an a Friday, Saturday or Monday. Coming back Sunday and Monday are always full, Friday and Saturday are also heavy.

Coming back, be flexible as to which mainland city you are willing to land at.
