What's there to do by the airport?

Gjn290 08-12-2013 08:10 PM

Which airport?

Bring your trail shoes, find a bayou and go running! This time of year, start early and hydrate.

Come on guys, why even contribute to this thread? It was started over a year ago and it was pointless back then. What is there to do and eat in one of the biggest cities in the US? Ummm anything and everything. The OP never even said where he was flying into.

Taco Cabana's are always nice! Where are the better layovers? Hobby or intercontinental?

If you did have transportation, "The Original Ninfas" has awfully good Mexican food!

Perry's - especially for the Wednesday special pork chop lunch!

IAH no doubt, it's in a much nicer area, The Woodlands is just a few miles away. HOU is right smack dab in the ghetto, but probably has the most authentic Mexican food you will find.

The "Original Ninfa's" which one is the Original? ;)

Perry's, also on Fridays, has a pretty awesome happy hour.

You will need a car if you are anywhere other than downtown.

La Mexicana is a great restaurant located in the Montrose area. I highly recommend it!
