Default Anchorage, Alaska King and Halibut Fishing

So, I figured I'd put this in this section because you big freight guys are up there so much! I'm trying to plan a 3 to 4 day fishing trip with my father, father in-law, and another person, So 4 total. We would probably go in June or July. Where would recommend staying and what guides and/or boats would you choose? Any package deals that you have found were a good value? I have only fished in South East Alaska before, first time to Anchorage. Thanks, Beech

I have a good friend who owns J&J Smart Charters. Good fishing for halibut and king salmon (if they're in).

Another plug for J&J...great folks. Operated by retired military. The secret is out on them though...so best to book up early.

I'd recommend going out of Seward, it's absolutely stunningly beautiful.
