I see alot of the Kew crashpads, however curious how people get back and forth to LGA? Trying to keep costs down. Especially sitting reserve. Hopefully I wont be at LGA long, trying to get back to DTW.

Staying closer to either jfk or Lga can save you a few bucks a month. Kew is average about $300 a month. Around the airports is 230-280 average. It’s a big gamble if co domicile comes though but there is talk of giving us cabs or lyfts.

To get from kew to the airport, endeavor provides a free shuttle that runs from Lga-kew-jfk and Vice Versa. Problem is it only runs every few hours and god forbid you need it between 1030am and 2pm, there isn’t one. Then your stuck with the q runner or a lyft. Airport to airport in a lyft is about 30-40 depending on the time of day. Yellow cab airport to airport is about 40 including tip. I’m not sure about prices from kew to the airport, haven’t done it

Kew to JFK or LGA: Kew Runner = $10 cash, and Kew Cab = $12 cash but can be split to $6 each if you have two people..Also have the company shuttle (free) if it ever matches up with your report time..Also lyft/uber (About $15). Can also take the busses/train to LGA but it's a little process.

Kew to JFK: Can take the J/Z train for $2.75 and take the air train in for $5.00 or take the Q10 for $2.75 straight to JFK.

The free shuttle works with reserve schedules. Trust me....I was a reserve ***** for 8 years. You want to be in Kew...parks/restaurants/bars/gyms/safe/270-300$...if you are interested PM me....I’d be glad to answer any questions and give you numbers for pads.

Are the trains not a good solution between airports?

I know there are buses to LGA in the Astoria area, and the Jamaica train to JFK, but have no idea if the two shall ever meet.

They were supposed to, but NYC politics/corruption and taxi owners shut that down every time it has been proposed.

They're talking about an LGA AirTrain from Willits, which is a terrible location.
