Default Insurance Coverage

Just checking on health insurance coverage and premiums. My current coverage at Envoy is $460 a month for a family with the best coverage available which is a $750 deductible.

That beats the pants off of our coverage at 9E... ours is about $820 per month with $6000 in deductables. Or you can take the lower deductible plan and pay about $1600 per month for it.

Our high deductable plan is not $820 a month. For family including Health, the top Dental, and Vision combined is 460 a month, but our family combined deductible is much higher. I doubt his is really a 750 deductible for the whole family. If it is, that’s awesome.

Straight out of 2018 benefits brochure:

Equivalent coverage ($800 in network deductible for entire family) will run $906 a month at Endeavor.

High deductible coverage ($2700 family deductible) runs $411 a
Month. Additionally, by completing a few easy health incentives the company will contribute $1250 towards those deductibles and they'll pay for the pilot's medical up to $100. Not a bad choice if your family is healthy as all preventative medicine is free.

It is $750 per person.....but it never seems to apply. I went in for a procedure for my back (shot) and I paid $50.00 for the copay. It’s a $3000.00 procedure. Never saw a bill. With your pay scale, OT and flight credit ....you’re still way ahead.
