It’s a combined base. It’s NYC, so you cover both, but not EWR like mainline does. You can put in bid preferences that you prefer one airport over the other though when you get a line. But on reserve you might start a trip from LGA and the next week start in JFK for the next . They have to end you in the original airport though, so there’s quite a bit of LGA-JFK Dh that you can convert into a alt dh home

You cover both. There's a crew shuttle that runs every couple of hours, which isn't bad.

So can a new hire FO on reserve who lives in NYC pick up as much time as he wants? I don’t want to just sit around and collect guarantee- is Endeavor the place to go?

If it fits on the schedule and is legal go for it. Might be able to get some green days to drop some reserve days but I'm not sure haven't been reserve in quite some time. Just have to work the system.

Dude if you live in base as reserve here and are ok with the short leash of a 2.5 hour call out you will credit 125-135 plus hours a month if you stack your days off and pick up open time on those days. Easily. Bid a 6 on 1 off reserve schedule that gets you 10 or so consecutive days off and then pick up 2 juicy 4 days. Enjoy not being used on 1/2 to 2/3 of your actual reserve days and the paycheck.

Edit: guys who live in base here have routinely been able to credit in the mid to high 100s. More if you can bid with check airman.

Default Why?

Why would you waste your time coming to EDV or even considering when there is ZERO job progression! ZERO!

You can't pick up open time on days that you have a reserve shift. However, you can pick up on days off, and you can pick up over days that you've dropped reserve. Yes, it is possible to drop days in NYC on the 900.

Money - highest paid regional
QOL - great commuter policy, 2nd try is positive space
Reserve - 30% LCR
Premium pay - 150-200%
And an awesome contract -

Why do I need a regional airline to find my next job in 5-8 years when I can find it myself in 3? BTW I don’t care about the DGI/ETD/SSP or whatever it’s called now.

Dude you sound like one of those salty Delta double NO's. Here is the thing why are you still here? I mean you could have bounced to a AA regional during bankruptcy right?(or sometime there after) than you would have your flow or job progression. To make your argument truly stand out it makes equal sense for you to quit as it does for someone to chose another regional because there is no job progression. Come on Boy stand up and stick it to Daddy D and quit first thing Monday morning that will show em.
