Well y'all are definitely doing it right with your pay scale. As far as the numbers on the Airline Profile page, EDV is the highest paying regional in the US.

That's because the FO's were jumping ship left and right for better opportunities. AA will always get a steep discount on its regional flying due to the flow.

Sorry but no

Our pay scales are the highest but you must go and include bonuses with others. Also, keep in mind that pay scales are only good if you actaully fly and right now a lot are just sitting around. NYC is expensive especially if you have to sit apt reserve EVERYDAY 3/4/5/6 days in a row. Additional crew just got told that Long call has been reduced so more will spend those pay rates just sitting in NYC. Will growth change that, maybe as we are overstaffed right now. It's coming any day they say!

Omnis app window opened just today.

We fat by 120 pilots and continue to hire and maintain that threshold.

Cool! Have fun at Omni.

You're giving FollowCompanyRJ a run for their money.

Airport reserve is limited by the contract to 3 times per stretch of reserve days and 10 times total per bid period. If you've been sitting it 3/4/5/6 times in a row, you need to submit a pilot issue form to the union. I would expect a pretty good settlement on that grievance if that's your situation.

That limit does not apply when you are the “last one”, which is a tactic they frequently use.

The simple truth is that while the base pay rates are the highest at EDV, the work rules are not the best, especially for reserves. Nobody really cared too much when things were moving along, but with the recent stagnation, it’s an issue. When bonuses are added into the equation the pay is often better elsewhere. And you get to actually fly an airplane instead of sit maximum RR!

Whoa hold on now. That's two different things you said there.

1) our RESERVE rules are some of the worst among the regionals.

But

2) our WORK rules are fantastic.

When you do hold a line here you can make a ton of money done right. I've been told we had a few FO's clear 100k last year.

And I know for a fact that you can clear 75k with 200 days off as an FO.

But yes. Reserve rules here are undeniably bad compared to other airlines. They will never improve because line holders wont ask for negotiating capital to be spent on it, and no MEC officer has been elected on the foundation of improving reserve.
