Default Virtual Interview

By any chance does Endeavor do interviews over Skype? I'm working for a Part 135 operator in a group of small islands in the pacific the Northern Marianas Islands (US Territory) and makes it somewhat difficult to attend an in-house interview. I'm about 1300nm southeast of Japan.

Recently got the email for the phone interview and was wondering if I should even bother.

Any input would be appreciated.

Give pilot outreach a call and ask. We don't usually but ya never know.

If you are serious about working for Endeavor, then yes I would bother. Considering they give you positive space, it shouldn’t be impossible to find a way to minneapolis.

I believe the positive space only applies to domestic flights on Delta. The only US carrier out of here is United.

Right but you could buy a ticket to LA for example, and then get positive space on Delta on the second flight is what I was saying.

If you can try and get to HNL on United that might work.

To the OP, I believe we brought a candidate up from Brazil once, as well as positive spaced a guy from Europe when he couldn't commute in on time. The recruitment team is usually more than happy to get creative on making things work out. Good luck, keep us posted!

I heard a story from a G7 recruiter that GoJet used to do skype interviews and they gave a guy the job and he showed up to class and had only 1 arm...don't know who would've given a one armed guy a 1st class medical, and I don't think you could legally deny someone a job based solely on the fact that he has one arm if he is otherwise qualified...but they stopped doing video interviews after that.

Just a story I heard, so who knows how true it is.

Mesa did phone interviews up until a few years ago. I heard rumors people were making up phony alias and getting phantoms class dates there as a joke. Not sure if there is any truth to it. All I know is they were forced to stop doing phone interviews

My Mesa interview was at the free breakfast at the holiday inn Express lobby... got a congratulations letter and a B1900 class date in the mail 2 weeks later. Still have the letter..
