You got the raw end of the deal but you weren’t bent over. If the government cheese was intended to protect your captain pay then I hope you’re made whole. But you were hired as a street captain. Plenty of pilots under you with more company time who’s upgrade you took. Seniority giveth and seniority taketh. It’s the game we signed up for.
So be it, but I still feel something contractually correct in my butt.
