The Endeavor Flow agreement is out and it is moronic.
  • Delta pilots subject to discipline under the Endeavor PWA
  • Sets out bilateral and concomitant seniority, pay, and working conditions across carriers but states that the agreement cannot be used in a single carrier proceeding
  • Is basically voluntary for management to comply with
  • Meet & Confer if management spins off Endeavor
  • Endeavor's new hires not covered
  • and this gem at the end "the parties agree that this Agreement in its entirety shall be rendered void and without force or effect if the Delta/ALPA System Board of Adjustment or a court of appropriate jurisdiction does not permit Delta to operate 223 76-seat aircraft under the Delta PWA"
This is bad for both sides. It pits all sides against one another. Rumors are that Endeavor's MEC wants to ratify this agreement. I ask, have they even had an attorney look at it?

Why the **** will ALPA's leaders not coordinate through ALPA's President like you are supposed to under our association's Admin Manual?

The Endeavor MEC and the Delta MEC (or their representatives since the DAL circus is so friggin big) should be meeting in Herdon with the President of ALPA to coordinate. We should be helping each other, not getting in a position to fight Delta scope (on one side) and kill preferential hiring (on the other side).

Hell, even the Aeromexico pilots and the Delta pilots sent leaders to both sides to coordinate. What the FFFF is wrong with the Endeavor MEC and the Delta MEC?

Umm yes if DL pilots flow back to 9E, they are not immune from disciplinary action. Whys should they be? Lol!

It is quite possible a 9E pilot would flow back to 9E. You tell me why they might want Delta to represent them IAW with the Delta PWA.

This entire thing is voluntary. In exhange for a very weak wink (this is not even a handshake) many may be giving up an opportunity to come to Delta, and get a Delta seniority number much sooner.

This looks like a cram down. It could, and should, be negotiated with much better terms to Endeavor pilots. My position would be seniority numbers now (and as a fall back for at least those senior enough to hold the 35 jets in question). There is no limit to the airplanes that can be flown by "Delta pilots."

Your negotiators appear to have not really negotiated on your behalf. If they did "negotiate" how is this different than management's starting position?

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Honest question. Is there a campaign at DALPA to give all 9E pilots a seniority list number now?

No

But, that would solve the problem for all involved.

We should work together.

Instead, the Delta pilots will add this to the 34 or so scope grievances, most of which have already been won by ALPA, but that are awaiting the penalty stage. The mediators hope that Delta pilots and management will negotiate a solution that results in them not having to actually mediate a controversial solution (a very good way to lose one's cush mediator job). (In fact, one of the most knowledgeable scope mediators recused himself already). So, the Delta pilots will probably win, which will **** you off at us. If we lose, then we negotiate (our Section 6 was already underway when COVID brought things to a halt). If you think 9E somehow wins against Delta and their pilots, talk to a Comair pilot and get back with me.

The Delta MEC is holding a Special MEC meeting June 3 (scheduled June 1, if that communicates what a hot button issue this is). The MEC could well call for an ALPA Executive Board Meeting to review (and override) the President's signature or recall the guy. The list of committee attendees also says something: Scope, Strat Planning, Strategic Preparedness and Strike Committees.

I suggested informational picketing at our local council meeting to a standing ovation.

Just saying, when you are sitting in Grenada and you see the aircraft carriers pulling out of port it is ridiculous to not follow ALPA's own Admin Manual to diplomacy. "Operation Urgent Fury" lasted about a day and a half.

I’m really not a fan of you but I’ll agree this post is garbage.

The trolls might be ****ed at Delta pilots, but I think everyone here understands that DALPA is doing what it must do.
