Just know it's never as bad as some people may lead you to believe nor is it as good as some may say. The truth lies somewhere in the middle and leans one way or the other depending on your attitude.

Probably the most honest answer...

To anyone thinking about coming to 9E or any other regional now or in the near future. Do not base your decision solely on what you read on any web board. Most information on any given topic is coming from a select few. 9E has 2000+/- pilots and probably 12 or less have been driving this thread. Most if not all information is speculative and emotionally driven.

Continue read and gather info the next 12 to 24 months are going to be interesting. Good luck to all.

The funn thing is all the nay sayers are using FACTS to back up their arguments. All the rest that are holding on for any shred of hope and can't grasp reality are the ones speculating

I have a lot of friends at 9e and there are some things that I miss, but I can honestly say it was the 2nd worst job I ever had in my life. The treatment there was deplorable. It really took leaving to fully see how bad it actually was. If it was the only option available, I'd leave the industry. People who work there and say it isn't that bad have been there so long that it's all they know. I do hope things get better there though. For everyone's sake.

Not sure if this has been posted, but what a joke "Hiring at full speed" ????

Pilot Hiring is at Full Speed!
Endeavor has been working hard over the last few months in anticipation of the pilot hiring that is now at full speed. We are very pleased with how everything has come together for us, creating a process mirroring the Delta hiring model.
The process of hiring a new pilot has many facets beyond that of a panel interview. It all starts with interested applicants filling out an application on Airline Applications. Upon completion, the application is then reviewed by members of Flight Op’s and HR to screen for candidates that meet the qualifications. Once a candidate is selected, a recruiter contacts the candidate for a phone screen and when all goes well, he/she is invited in for the interview.
The actual interview consists of two phases. The first is a
series of three computerized tests, a cognitive screen,
personality assessment and a job knowledge test - testing their knowledge of regulations and basics of flight, etc. Pilots are encouraged to spend two weeks to prepare for this difficult test using a study guide that Endeavor provides. If the candidate successfully passes the computer based testing (so far we're around 73% pass rate on that), he/she will move onto a panel interview with Flight Op’s and HR. Providing they make it through this challenging process, the candidate is given a conditional job offer and set up for a class date.
How can employees help with this process? Pilots who are qualified today have many opportunities for employment with several carriers, much different than years past. We are looking to all our employees to be ambassadors and reach out to friends and family to encourage pilots to join the Endeavor team. Employee referrals are very valuable to us so please forward them to Logan Case, Manager of Pilot Recruitment, or Jen Stockman, HR Pilot Recruiter.
When asked about the interview process, our recent new hires said it was an enjoyable experience, although the testing is quite challenging. They are very impressed with our training and are enjoying working for us, and everyone is going out of their way to make them feel welcome.

This is exactly what it is. It's that world of denial that they live in. Ignorance is bliss and it's very apparent here. Not even ignorance...just living in a world of denial that makes life bliss. I wish I could live like that. Then that "real world" idea pops in my head...I decide to act on logic and facts.
