Default Pilot opinion - The future of Endeavor

Please honestly vote for your "opinion" of the "most likely" future outcome at endeavor airline. Thanks! I'm trying to choose between leaving and sticking it out here to see if it all works out. Thanks!

Default Pilot opionion - The future of Endeavor

Does our "opionion" matter?

Based on company projections end of 2015 we will have 1300 pilots based on attrition with a total of 16 downgrades and 50 upgrades making a total of 34 upgrades total for the year. So basically a slow year for anyone in the bottom half if you stick around. If all 200's are gone by end of 2015 we will be at 16 pilots per aircraft...sounds like plenty to keep the operation going and no need to hire aggressively.

Why furlough and pay unemployment when people will actually leave? And you can staff the current business model. Plenty of staff, very flexible terms for DAL as far as moving crews around and streamline expenses hence the overlap and synergies within both companies. Therefore:

DAL = WIN
Pilots = LOSE

END OF STORY....

To the OP it does and to others it doesn't. Did you think he would of asked if he didn't want to know the answer?

You'll start moving up at least 300 numbers every year, so read between the lines of all the recent company data and figure out if you'll be in a good spot or not.

Delta has to hire over 1000 pilots for "at least" 300 to be true. It is 300 or 35% which ever is lower. Hopefully with unicon and murikan picking it up it will be close to that number, but to say for certain is inaccurate.

That means they only have to hire 860 to get to the 300, right? Aren't they planning on hiring at least that many for the next 10 years? I don't think it really matters anyway, the attrition numbers don't change much regardless of how the 300 or 35% plays out. I still don't see how they can upgrade unless they are able to hire at least 100 pilots next year.
