Yea......You are so right here, I'd rather have a higher tax return then more money in the bank. How about you claim more dependents on your W4 and by the end of the year you might just end up getting no tax return. Why have the govt hold on to your money? I know why because you've obviously shown people you are not very good with money. You hate us because you anus!

Somewhat true, but if your an fo with a family you can file for a earned income credit without the bonus. With the bonus the total income for the year gets pushed over that cutoff line. That means you will be losing out on approximately 4000 to 7000 dollars of refund. Look at it that way and the 20k will be close to being cut in half.

The CP said that there have been a "few" of you lateral transferers that called and wanted back in. He said those few lateral transferers get their longevity back but not seniority.

My advice, don't even think about 9E
I jumped ship January 2015 from Endeavor. It is one of the last places I would recommend anyone going to right now. Forget about that bonus money(do you want to make a regional your career?). Other regionals have actual growth, better contracts, and upgrade opportunity which is what really matters. Check out the CQFO program at TSA or look at Compass. But who knows what Delta's plan for 9e is. They can be ruthless and will do whatever they can to get their bonus checks. If you go to 9E expect a so so contract, 11 days off, and flying with some seriously low moral pilots. Oh and hope you like NYC or one of their other fine bases.

Wait I heard that the bonus at Endeavor was going to be taxed at 100% and that if you went to Endeavor you would actually have to pay to work there. When I read some of the stuff on this board I wonder if there are children posting on this board. Come to Endeavor or don't but please inform yourself don't making a hasty decision based on the rumor mill. I am sure there are a few people who jumped ship at Endeavor who thought they were sticking it to them and now regret their decision.
