I don't know what if any base needs to close to staff Miami. I merely asked the question, since ORD was shrunk in half to staff NY re-opening. Can't wait for another 5 months of involuntary TDYs.

Actually, you would have had a lot more credibility had you come on here three Saturdays ago and said something like, "Sorry for getting everyone's hopes up. I really thought there was going to be a big announcement yesterday, but looks like it will be sometime in the near future."

But instead, you go silent, waiting in the dark for the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT, so you could jump out of the bushes, pointing fingers and screaming "I TOLD YOU SO!"

Fortunately for our DFW 145 guys, it won't be the massacre that you ORD guys had thrown at you. 145s from DFW will be going to MIA, but they are being replaced by 140s that are currently parked in the desert.

I'm here to help and provide information. I'm not here to waste my time playing online ping pong with you. I let the facts and evidence speak for themselves. But carry on. Miami is coming back, that's 4 crew bases for us now. Upgrades are at 2 years, we are flowing 25-30 pilots per month to AA, hiring on average 70+ per month. Things are going well for us. I'm not going to bother convincing you and a couple of others of the obvious. But I won't have my integrity questioned.
