So if I want to go on a trip for the weekend and I don't care really where I go. Say I book a flight to SFO but miss the flight. They would simply roll me over to the next flight and I would be at the top of the D2 or D1 list (if I signed in 24hrs prior). If you miss a flight they don't just cancel the PNR if you are there.

Question. If I didn't get on the SFO flight could I roll that PNR to a LAX flight?

Yes. You would keep your original check-in time as well; however, you have to see an agent to make the destination change.

Upgrade status?

So if we are using the ATW tickets, does anyone know where we will be on the upgrade list? Is it still just based on check in time, or will we be ahead of the non-rev listers?

UPGE....just like when deadheading.

How long do we have to use these?

And to add to that, some agents will tell you they can't change your destination, but they absolutely can. I've had a couple tell me it's not possible, I assume because they didn't know they could or they were being lazy.

This is incorrect. These will be A7 passes.

These tickets are booked under the A7 pass type. This is
a different pass type than your regular non-revenue
space available or confirmed space business trips. With
this pass type you’ll be able to book the last available
seat on the plane. And you can easily keep track of
how many tickets you have available in the Travel
Planner. Select Travelers from the top toolbar and
you’ll see A7 reward passes next to your other pass
banks with the number you have available. Once
you’ve used your tickets, they’ll show up on your
Travel History page as type A7A. And unlike your space
available passes, these will be removed from your
bank at the time of booking.

I'm seeing a lot of ignorant and obfuscated information in these comments with regards to your travel privileges in the AA system. Ignorance of the policies and procedures will not save your travel privileges nor will it exonerate you from facing disciplinary action for the misuse of said benefits. If you violate the travel policy and if it affects my commuting ability or quality of life. I will report your abuse of the system through appropriate channels, provided I cannot rectify the situation with you personally. The travel guide is easily accessible through the company website: After logging into my.envoyair.com select the "Travel" button at the top of the page, then select the "Travel guide" link located at the bottom. This should download a *.pdf file for your viewing. It is recommended to keep this as a resource so that you may reference it while utilizing your non-rev benefits.

My oh my Eagle...that surely escalated quickly. The poster was asking how the upgrade requests works and if it would be ahead of other non revs. I'm well aware that they are A7 passes. And like I said, the upgrade request will show up as UPGE ahead of the D1s etc, just like a DHD. Take a deep breath pal, it'll be alright.

Hey guys, I thought I got an email the other day that mentioned BA and Iberia flights would be available for the tickets but I can't find the email or any info on jetnet about it. Do any of you guys remember this or am I going crazy?
