Just don’t get divorced if you put it in savings. My ex is getting half my bonus and now I’m in this hole even deeper than I was.

Kind of. You'll put in the bank after-tax, and pay it back pre-tax. But it will still be a nice cushion to pay it back. And if Delta calls, who cares?
