FO Retention Bonus

Does anyone have a link or description of the dates to qualify for the retention bonus and don’t we have one coming up soon? I thought they were issued quarterly.

The latest FO retention Bonus Window for pilots hired prior to 6/30/2016 ran from December 1 – February 28, 2018.
The FO Retention Bonus Payment for this window is required to be made no later than March 25, 2018.
Your last eligibility period runs 12/1/17-2/28/18, with your last retention bonus payment coming around 3/25/18

If you were hired after 6/30/2016, you must have completed probation prior to 12/1/17 (hired before 12/1/16) to be eligible for this most recent period. If you complete probation between 12/1/17 and 2/28/18 you won't be eligible until the next period starts on 3/1/18.
Reminder: you are eligible for all 8 retention payments upon completion of your probationary period (one year of service).

Thank you very much for the info

Quick question:
Let's say you complete a year of service, but you don't schedule your appointment until a month later to get off probation (so you officially complete probation at the 13 month period). When do you start qualifying for the retention bonus?

You are off of probation at 12 months whether or not you visit the CPO before the 12 months.

This is very clear in the contract. However the company has fired an employee for his forth sick call after completing his 12 months and prior to completing his probation interview. The company had a different view point of the contract than you and my opinion of it. They said he was still on his probation.

If you haven’t received a checkride prior to your anniversary then the day you hit your one year, email your LEC f/o rep and have him work on getting your progress reports and such removed. You’re not on probation anymore, even if you didn’t get a ride. Don’t let the CPO say otherwise.

I'm surprised more people don't complain about the extremely harsh punishment for a relatively small number of sick calls. In the desk job world burning through all your sick days every year is almost expected by many employers, and some places don't even bother making a distinction between sick and vacation.
