What's the recent stats been about getting the 175 @ ORD out of training? Currently a 800 hr CFI, need around 200 more hours. Not a cadet, no prior 121 experience obviously. Just wondering what the recent past has been like.

Good news is that if ORD is what you want, it's the only base with all 3 fleet types. So even if you don't get ORD right off the bat, you'll be able to bid back to it very quickly.

Your likely options when you pick are either ORD or LGA 145 or ORD CRJ. Even if you get LGA 145, you'll be back in ORD very soon... maybe even before training ends.

ORD 145 hasn't been offered for at least the past 6 months.

The odds of you getting that airplane based on the info you gave seem very slim. Don't fret though, ORD is a good base to fly out of and you can take all three planes, although I would avoid the CRJ due to it being a shrinking fleet.
The 175 is a great plan, but so is the 145 and the crj. Don't get your hopes up, it would be a long shot for you to get it as an FO. Now come upgrade time, that may be a different story.
Good Luck,

ORD is the ONLY domicile that the CRJ is based in. If ORD is what you really want, you may want to bid the CRJ. Yes, it's a shrinking fleet, but if/when you get displaced, you should easily be more than senior enough to displace to ORD in either the 145 or 175.

Since it hasn't been mentioned, keep in mind that the FO seat lock means that you will never fly another plane at Envoy as an FO besides the one you get in class, unless displaced. That means probably no shiny jet unless you are a cadet. Luckily for you, ORD is the only base where every fleet type lives.
