or maybe he meant that he had hoped that guys seniority number was lower and in the group of people who had been furloughed. Perhaps he wasn’t hoping for 500 more people to have been furloughed but that this one guy happened to be in the group that did.

because then he’s not hoping for you and 500 of your friends to have also been furloughed as you assumed and ridiculed him for. He’s just musing about a specific person that he has distaste for to have been furloughed vice someone he has no distaste for. I’m sure if you had a say there are some pilots you would rather see on the furlough list than others. And if you say you wouldn’t then you are just being dishonest with yourself.

the fact that he apparently did because he doesn’t like the guy’s YouTube videos WHICH NO ONE IS FORCING HIM TO WATCH, merely ups the ante. If he had a more rational reason to dislike him, it still wouldn’t justify using an anonymous board name to vilify someone.

Indeed. From the legacy perspective it's regional pilots, who work for pennies on the dollar and fly mainline routes while we're furloughed or on reduced ALVs.

Nobody is wishing anyone to be out on furlough, those that got butthurt about it just took it the wrong way, and I don't have a problem with SM at all.
My point is had he experienced furlough himself maybe one of his videos would include this topic and perhaps bring more awareness to the current situation.
