Default 15 More E175s Coming to Envoy

American has just announced that it is exercising its options for 15 additional Embraer 175 (E175) aircraft, to be operated by Envoy. These new aircraft are expected to begin arriving at a rate of three per month, starting in early 2020.

This is in addition to the 25 E175s currently on order that begin arriving later this month and continue through 2019. By mid-2020, Envoy’s E175 fleet will have nearly doubled from where we are today:

Yeah got the same email. Good news for all I suppose. I imagine these will further take over the lost CRJ flying due to the transfer of those aircraft in 2020 so likely a very small net gain of total aircraft.

This will bring the fleet to 84 total aircraft. Almost to our emb140/145 total number.

More movement for the 175 side! I can't wait to explain how the thrust lever works in cruise to the guys who got the 175 in my own class when they upgrade and I'm still sitting on reserve, lol

Default Who cares about 175 when you are treated like

Enovy’s CEO just was named one of the best CEOs in the DFW area asks how he does it he states because he has the best employees yet we are one of the lowest paid pilots out there. Have the worst reserve rules. Horrible schedules that are non productive. If you are searching for a pilot job don’t come here. You will be on reserve for a long time and will deplete whatever savings you have. Americans motto is going for great. Well it is great at treating its employees like crap. I had to email and call the CP office 8 times to get a response. That is how much they take care of you at Envoy. Moral is low who cares how many 175 they get when you are treated like****.

This won't help the Flow to mainline in the end. Someone gots to fly them and in the end, they will meter the flow even more.

Maybe only slightly as we have to account for the CRJ's leaving that same at the same time.

The slow/delay excuses don't seem to hold much water anymore. PSA has really high staffing levels right now.
