Union/company meeting
 

Anyone hear anything on the meeting they had yesterday evening?

Yesterday's DFW crew room meeting notice mentions "upcoming meetings" with the company. Between the timing of that (2 to 4:30pm) and the scheduled MEC officer meeting at 6pm, I don't know if we should be expecting much just yet.

In their defense it has not even been 24hours haha...but I would like to hear something...anything...by the weeks end. Even if it’s just a “we are headed in the right direction...” or “...we aren’t making much progress...” email.

Yesterday Pat was in the DFW crew room (I sit a lot of standby). He said that we should hear something either way on Monday.

Folded in. Envoy pilots with 175 ratings will get one day of seniority at American per two days. All Envoy pilots will get one day per three if only typed in the CRJ or 145, so PSA and PDT will be one for three as well.

NC met with the company for the first time yesterday. MEC is spending the next few days reviewing the company’s proposal. MEC is planning on communicating the status of the talks between ALPA and the company. As others have mentioned, DO NOT negotiate online. Especially publicly volunteering to accept concessions. Don’t negotiate for the company.

Its minimum pay raises and pay rates equal to psa and no concessions on our current contract. Not much to think about. If it's not the above then there is no consideration to be had.

What does that mean, and why would anyone agree to that if they were not on the 175?

Exactly. AA really has an opportunity right now to bring us all under the fold pay/seniority wise and make one big “happy” family. I have a feeling if Envoy Pilots don’t get what we deserve, you will see many jump ship, myself included. Fingers crossed
