175 in MIA?

Is this the start of envoy taking over all eagle flights in MIA. see a envoy 175 on flightaware ENY4385

There is no Envoy 4385. There is, however, a Republic 4385 that operates in MIA.

Republic is shutting Envoy down in both our east coast bases, but much slower in Miami.

Safe to say that MIA will be a small ENY base in the next few years?

Likely, yes. Safe to say, no. Not in this business, and not at Envoy. It only recently came back.

Not necessarily. I wouldn't be surprised if there is no Envoy MIA 175 base ever. I think AAG is pretty happy with Republic.

I love how everyone on here talks like they sit in on AAG meetings...haha...you have no idea what AAG is or isn’t happy with, nor do I or anyone posting on these forums. And if they say they do, they’re lying.

I just go off of the news articles about TSA, ExpressJet, and Air Whiskey flying going away, and Mesa being "reprimanded" by American. I haven't seen any such articles about Republic.

One can also deduce clues from what the VP of AAG Planning said about American's regional feed a few quarters ago.

I never pretended to know what all the future plans are. But it seems that Republic is pretty safe at the moment. And betting on a 175 Miami base that nobody really knows if it will happen may not be a smart move.

The only way I see the 175 going to MIAMI is to replace our 145.

In order for our 175 fleet to serve MIA in lieu of Republic they’d need to be equipped for over water shenanigans. Far as anyone knows that ain’t happening.
