New hire training
Which hotel are they putting new hires in while training? How long is the training footprint and are there any current training backlogs? Does Envoy do all training in house at DFW? I know there are 145 sims in HOU and 175 in STL but was unsure if those are ever used?

Right now its the XXX in Bedford for ATP/CTP and is about to be for sims, which is good because they have free breakfast.
INDOC, systems, and IPT/CPTs are at XXX.
Non ATP it’s:
1 week ATP/CTP
1 week INDOC
4 weeks CBTs, systems, IPT/CPTS
2 weeks sim/MV/LOE
A few 3-5 day breaks in there.
Lately the 175s have been in STL a lot, but the 145s have been in Dallas at either AA or Flight Safety

If you put in the effort and have a good attitude you will get through. But you won’t be spoon fed. It is quite the firehose. But some instructors are better than others. One literally had us reading the manual out loud in class. Many of the instructors have never flown the airplane they are teaching. If you’re lucky they will have at least flown it somewhere. Some classroom instructors don’t even have commercial ratings. The final procedure training periods and final sim periods are taught by Envoy qualified line pilots.
